Hall of Fame Resort and Entertainment Company Announces Ticket Sale Information for Women’s Football Alliance Championship Weekend at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium

Events takes place Friday, July 23 – Saturday, July 24, 2021

Tickets go on sale Friday, April 30 at 10:00 AM EST

CANTON, Ohio – April 27, 2021 – Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company (“HOFV” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: HOFV, HOFVW), the only resort, entertainment and media company centered around the power of professional football and owner of the Hall of Fame Village powered by Johnson Controls (“the Destination”), today announced that starting this Friday, April 30, tickets for the Women’s Football Alliance (“WFA”) championship weekend to take place on July 23 and 24 at the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium will go on sale. Those interested in purchasing tickets can do so by going to www.hofvillage.com/p/events/womens-football-alliance-championships.

Throughout the weekend, four games will take place: the Division I National Championship Game, Division II National Championship Game, Division III National Championship Game, and WFA All-American Game. This event is presented by the Hall of Fame Village powered by Johnson Controls, WaV Sports and Entertainment LLC and the WFA.

“It is an honor to host the first women’s tackle football game at our world-class facilities in the birthplace of professional football in Canton, Ohio,” said Mike Levy, President of Operations for HOFV. “We are excited to work closely with the WFA going forward and are very much looking forward to Championship Weekend at the Hall of Fame Village powered by Johnson Controls this July.”

The WFA is the largest 11-on-11 women’s tackle football league in the world. Its mission to help woman get involved in the game and develop the skillsets they need to compete professionally aligns with HOFV’s vision to grow the sport and provide opportunities for women to excel both on and off the field.

Women’s tackle football leagues have existed for over four decades, yet growth and interest in the sport has exploded over the past five years. The level of competition in women’s tackle football is the strongest it’s ever been, while the number of teams is at an all-time high.
