Chain Grab 2 Tournament Positions Hall of Fame Village as Premier Esports Destination

CANTON, OH (Mar. 29, 2023) – Gold Summit Gaming, a division of Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company (NASDAQ: HOFV, HOFVW), announces the return of its esports tournament series with the ‘Chain Grab 2 Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Tournament’ on May 21, 2023. Doors open at 9 am ET with the tournament starting at 11 am ET in the Club level VIP Lounge of Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium at Hall of Fame Village.
The tournament is open to players ages 13 and older and will feature doubles and singles competitions and an even larger singles competition pot bonus of $1,500 than the first Chain Grab tournament at Hall of Fame Village. Similar to ‘Chain Grab 1’, this second installment is expected to draw a wide range of professional and casual players and fans from all parts of the country who will compete on high-definition monitors with highlighted moments broadcast live on the stadium’s scoreboards.

Chain Grab 2 has added Friendlies – sideline competitions for players as they await their match and between bracketing – to the day’s programming. There will also be a VIP Watch Party for 21 years and older held on the Terrace Level of the Stadium.
