NFL Alumni Association

The NFL Alumni Association consists of former NFL players, coaches, executives, spouses, cheerleaders, and associate members. The NFL Alumni's mission "Caring for our Own" is to serve, assist and inform its members and their families. Like the Hall of Fame Village powered by Johnson Controls, the NFL Alumni is also committed to serving the needs of youths across the country through its traditional missions of "Caring for Kids."

NFL Alumni Academy

The NFL Alumni Academy is an unprecedented in-season training program developing “NFL Ready” players training and preparing on the campus of the Pro Football Hall-of-Fame Village in Canton, Ohio. The Academy will train the top free agent football players in preparation to sign an in-season contract with NFL teams looking to replace 500+ active roster players lost during each season due to injury.

After years of research and discussion at the highest levels with NFL League Executives, Team Owners, General Managers, Personnel Directors & Scouts, Head and Assistant Coaches, as well as, player representatives. Academy leadership found that the creation of an in-season “NFL Ready” player development program was necessary and has been universally well received by NFL teams. The Academy combines world class sports science advances in athlete performance, data analytics and digital analysis together with old school technique and improving Football IQ.



How will the NFL Alumni Academy help players?

The coaching staff at the Academy is made up of veteran NFL coaches and players who teach, mentor, and coach players several hours a day. Players begin the day each morning improving their football IQ by studying film. Then they go and do individual, position specific drills with their groups. After that, our world class performance staff works with the players 4 hours per day to make sure they are "NFL Ready" including strength, movement, and fitness. Players also attend life skills courses taught by ex-NFL players and other experts.

NFL GM’s and Coaches from all 32 teams have 24/7 access to daily training video and coach’s graded reports from Academy NFL Alumni staff. Academy sports science utilizes Next Gen Stats for direct data analytic comparisons with NFL players to give NFL teams evaluation information.







Who will be invited to the NFL Alumni Academy?

The 2021 NFL Season will be limited to three positions:
- Offensive Line
- Defensive Line
- Running Backs

NFL Alumni Academy Football Diversity Development

The NFL Alumni Academy will not only develop “NFL Ready” players but also develops future NFL coaches, personnel scouts and front office executives through the Diversity Development Program. The NFL Alumni Academy is also a development program to prepare and promote minority former players for professional opportunities in elite levels of sports, including the NFL.

The Football Diversity Development Program is designed to accelerate the professional positions geared toward employment in the National Football League. Experienced veteran NFL coaches, players and personnel experts teach, coach and mentor the former NFL players seeking to pursue a post-playing career in the NFL in the areas of coaching, personnel or executive positions.

The NFL Alumni Academy provides the opportunity for all 32 NFL teams to also evaluate the talent and skill sets. NFL teams can then establish communication and relationships with the program participants that could generate professional opportunities providing NFL teams with talented and prepared professionals.

The NFL Alumni Academy also provides internships for female coaches from the Women’s Football Alliance in order to help them better their craft and learn under some of the best in the NFL.
